The everlasting Skeleton & Roses is hand drawn from scratch by our very own Rainwater. This one’s been a long time coming. Deeply inspired by Jerry’s Nudie’s Rodeo Tailors suit {1972} and Live Dead from the same year, creating this Artwork was a many moons-long labor of love for her.

Together we spent countless hours adapting her drawing for highly detailed embroidery. Lots of needling and testing to get it here, combining a wide variety of stitching techniques. Satin and fill stitches, run stitches, zigzags…over 250,000 of them layered directly into the fabric. Intensive detail filled with texture, gradation and depth. Art is 14 inches in height.

Each garment is hand dyed & then embroidered directly into the fabric. One at a time. Please allow 6 weeks for delivery.
