Top Hat! Embroidery tribute to Mr. Steve Cripe, who masterfully crossed the river of craft from boat interior woodworking into Lutherie, seamlessly landing 2 stage guitars into Jerry’s hands. Top Hat was commissioned by Jerry as a backup to Lightning Bolt & was delivered in April of ‘95. We’ve heard that Jerry spent countless hours at home woodshedding on this guitar in the Spring/Summer of ’95. Unfortunately we never quite heard Jerry pry magical nuggets from its fresh strings.
