Each beanie features a piece of original Deadstock jacquard braid cut from the same rolls used by The Ace Guitar Strap Company to craft Jimi Hendrix’ infamous guitar strap in the late 1960’s. Originally woven on an early perforated card loom, this all cotton Jacquard is nearly 60 years old & remains in pristine condition. Check the gallery for photos of the original guitar strap and raw jacquard textile rolls.

We located the very last of this raw Deadstock textile in a warehouse that was housing the remaining Jacquard rolls from when Ace discontinued their guitar strap collection. We’ve coveted them in our studio for 20+ years. It was finally the right time to sew it up & offer up a piece of guitar History to you guys.
