We’ve been searching for this jacquard textile for 30 years, since first seeing it on a vintage guitar strap. We were never able to find it {not even a small piece} so just assumed it was long gone & gave up hope. Fast forward to 2023 when a good friend sent us a photo of Billy picking acoustic with the same strap, a renewed inspiration was sparked. So we went on the hunt once again & sure enough a few months ago we uncovered the last remaining Deadstock stash, immediately snatching it up. This all cotton fabric is it! Originally woven circa 1972 for The Ace Guitar Strap company then left for Dead, until we found it 50+ years later. Untouched. Pristine. We’re stoked to bring you the Twill version of this hat!
