Healy Stealie Levi’s Spanish Tobacco Cord

$400.00

Wovenfree Custom Shop. Healy Stealie GD Family Deadstock textile series. Each jacket in this series features at least 3 original pieces of the 1980’s Grateful Dead Family Steal Your Face prototype fabric generously entrusted to us by Dan Healy’s son Elric. This exact piece of Deadstock satin fabric was used by the band to prototype the GD necktie collection. It was originally woven circa 1985, nearly 40 years ago. We’ll be repurposing this last remaining yard into patchwork until it’s gone.

This jacket also features Hand Loomed vintage Guatemalan cotton, Navajo cotton twills, flannel & a variety of vintage denims…all kindly meeting the history & rarity of this original Deadstock SYF fabric dead-on. Having a creative craftswoman like Rainwater in the studio is a true blessing. She arranges, cuts & sews the patchwork, layering in choice rare vintage fabrics we’ve been collecting for decades; single needling it all together beautifully. Check out the vintage Navajo wovens and deep blue dungaree denim pieces.

Each jacket is one of a kind, custom made to order. We warranty our sewing for life. Please allow 6 weeks for delivery. Dry Clean Only.
