We’ve been searching for this particular jacquard textile for 30 years, since first seeing it on a vintage guitar strap. I was never able to find it {not even a small piece} so I just assumed it was long gone & gave up hope. Fast forward to 2023 when a good friend sent me a photo of Billy picking acoustic with the same strap & sparked a renewed inspiration to find it. So I went on the hunt again & sure enough a few weeks ago I uncovered the last remaining Deadstock fabric rolls & immediately snatched it up. This all cotton fabric is it! Originally woven circa 1972 for The Ace Guitar Strap company then left for Dead, until we found it 50+ years later. Untouched. We’re so excited to finally bring you this hat!
