Originally woven in the 1970’s on a perforated card Jacquard Loom, this raw Deadstock Textile is 50 years old & remains in pristine condition. Woven for a craft banjo/guitar strap maker & then left for dead. We’ve sought it out & preserved it kindly, coveting it in our textile treasure chest for decades. Repurposing these wovens into wearable garments is an ongoing grateful passion of ours.

This is the traditional Hootenanny pattern characterized by x-Diamond overlapping geometric shapes. Countless songs have been written & stories swapped throughout the ages inspired by these Folk strap textiles. They carry a rich History down the line from generation to generation.
